Crowley actually didn’t mind Naomi per se; it was more the principle of the thing. You had to both admire and resent ambition when it came to the competition, and she was his. Naturally he expected her to crash and burn sometime, preferably soon - her rise through the corporate ladder in their PR firm was a little too quick to be sustainable, or so he liked to think - but even with that in mind she could rub his patience quite thin.
Especially when she stole one of his clients. Especially when that client was actually a large company with the sort of contracts that involved multiple zeroes. Of course, he wasn’t about to go and tell her that himself. That was something he delegated to lesser creatures, like his assistant.
He stuck his head out of his office. “Hey!” he snapped, startling the young woman at her desk who was in charge of - well, of not letting Naomi one-up him. “Go over to Naomi’s office and knock over one of her plants or a paperweight or something for me,” he said. “I have aggression I need to get off of my chest.”
