so ermmmm... hello Tumblelandia please do not let me down with this one...

I just discovered I probably have no mind’s eye* and apparently some of ya’ll really out here just ABLE to visualise a horse or hamburger or dare I say the fan fiction (but also literally anything) WITHOUT having FIRST seen it with thine own eyes... can someone please make a visual or yell about what their mind’s eye process of conjuring up a thing and being able to manipulate it is like? Do you see it in your head or do your eyes project it into the space in front of you?

* allegedly not having an mind’s eye is a real thing and it’s called Aphantasia

side note no one asked for: I’m even a professional visual artist who’s definitely responded to people describing things to me with “I can totally picture that” but upon further reflection I totally cannot lol it’s always been pure conceptualisation and/or referencing pre-stored visuals I observed once with mine eyeballs that I meticulously filed away for future reference in me mind palace the end
