Spoilers ahead for episode 3…
I’m sorry but there’s one thing we have to address first:
Why was he just not there? You can’t just… no. There’s too many Keith Stans for that mess.
Matt and Pidge and Hunk are like freaking fantastic, so much better than hot dog water. I had to say something about hot dog water at some point. Don’t ask. But they’re so cute doing their little science stuff and hanging out next to their space tech and past successful missions all thanks to either Hunk’s genius idea or Pidge’s amazing inventions. They make me wanna shit rainbows.
I know that we’ve already discussed Lance milking Kalternecker and playing video games but I’m whipping out these gifs again and were gonna admire his beauty some more cause its like medication and everyone needs medication cause everyone is sick of life so here take it:
Shiro’s boyfriend is back. Matt is definitely bi now cause Shatt exists, fight me, and he has a lil crush on Allura. MATT LOVES ALLUURRAAAAAAAAAA! Lance’s bi ass isn’t happy about Matt hitting on Allura though. And Allura is confused cause obviously she’s gay for Pidge. Obviously. That entire scene was just too cute. Laugh out loud. There’s our lgbtq+ content right there kids, if you believe in these, and maybe other, ships that apply to the episode of course. That was kind of a joke. But Matt is just tooo caayuuuuute!!
Let’s also address the galra side of the show okay, I’ve got some groundbreaking news here: Haggar looks in the mirror. She looks in a fucking mirror guys. This is obviously foreshadowing on something.
Theory 1: I think she'll overcome this greed for quintessence at some point by betraying Zarkon. She sees herself and almost what she's become in this scene right. I believe there's a Lil good in her somewhere. It may be hard to find, Very hard to find, but it's there.
Also, I’ve addressed this before in another post from like a month ago that Narti is too mysterious and i don’t like her, him, they, whatever. And you know thE FACT HAGGAR AND NARTI HAD AN UNSPOKEN MOMENT WITH EACH OTHER IS NOT A GOOD THING. I WILL BET MONEY THAT I DON’T HAVE!
Theory 2: Narti is bad. Bet.
Lotor has got not only daddy issues, but mommy issues as well. And my boi is no longer leader of the galra cause daddy Zarkon’s stank-self is back, but obviously he’s up to something smart and beautiful, like himself.
Theory 3: lotor has a rough childhood guys. Kinda obvious... but imagine how much practice he's had not trusting his parents. Imagine planning schemes like this, like it was normal. He's had plenty of time to practice lying as well. Does he even know Haggar/Honevra is his mother? Was he even happy as a child? Was he forced to train over and over and over without breaks to become as skilled as he is now? Did he suffer?
What did it take to make the lotor we all know and love today?
I am assigning Lotor a protection squad, you don’t even have to sign up.
That's all I've got for this episode. Here’s my thoughts on episode 4!
