Hey I have a request! I don’t know if I can actually make requests or not but I just watched that Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe miniseries Jeff was in as Joe DiMaggio. I’ve seen I think one gif set floating around but if you haven’t giffed all of him in it, could you? If you have, could I get a link?

I thought for sure that all the comic con stuff, new trailer, etc would’ve boosted fic attention again. I know during a hiatus, readers seem to vanish (which feels backwards to me but whatever) but I thought for SURE that it would’ve boosted again after comic con.

Are you having the same issue? On one hand it’s annoying, on the other hand it’s super disheartening.

I have to be honest with you I haven't really written since the trailer was released. I was having some troubles writing because I was really busy and because one of my stories didn't do as well as I hoped it would. I will let you know if future things don't do well. I realized as soon as Tumblr changed its ways in the past that I got a lot less interaction because a lot of people left Tumblr. I went from having thousands of notes to being lucky it I got 60. Plus I also noticed that people say that they'd like a slowburn but if you write something that doesn't have smut in it it really doesn't get as much attention which is sad. Sending you lots of love and support. I know people say that you have to write for you which is true, but at the same time it's sucks not having that interaction because it helps us grow as writers and encourages us to keep going.

Hey, first of all, LOVE your blog. Secondly, I'm mulling around ideas for doing a The Resident fic and I can't seem to find any information anywhere online as to if we ever got Max's last name. Do you know if one was mentioned or even shown?

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner! I don't think they had a last name for him. They showed papers about his parents dying, but they never showed a last name. I could be wrong and someone could correct me on this. But I don't think he had a last name. Juliet did. That's the only thing I remember.

I just wanted to say that I've read a ton of your stuff on AO3, in fact the first one of yours that I read was The Savior (which I could NOT stop reading until I finished it, holy shit, just fantastic). After reading that, I went through the list of literally everything else and read all of what by the summary caught my interest, which was almost all of your stuff.

It's rare for me to read a fanfic and not find a single thing that the writer in me is going "oh, I'd do that differently" or whatever but your shit is fucking perfection. I wish mine was as good as yours. This is less of an ask and more of ass kissing and praise. Fucking cheers, my dude. <3 I'm stayin subscribed and excited for whatever JDM related work you do next.

These kind of messages always touch my heart more than anyone could ever begin to understand. I appreciate it so much. It makes me happy, it makes me smile and it makes my day. I originally started writing by a friend's random suggestion, then I kept doing it because it helps soothe my mind. So, when people tell me things like this it really just is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I am sending ya all the love and cyber hugs I could give ya b/c this kind of stuff makes my dad, week, month, year, you name it.

I'm sure your work is fantastic though. Please never compare yourself to another writer. I've been writing for five years just about. I think. And it's so hard for me to go back and read my own stuff sometimes. Even my stuff now because I'm half dead sometimes I find my own errors and go oh man, come on.
