Due to unforeseen circumstances, I found myself in the middle of a plot twist. Originally there were no plans of villains aside from Sylvie the ex-best friend, then in the middle of writing Borris, Larry and Nemesis show up. Now I gotta hurry up editing my history final so I can write my favorite characters out of trouble they found themselves.

The sum of the parts

To my Joys:

Always remember that you are greater than the sum of the parts. You are of aĺl your ancestors and stand on their shoulders. Your surname and the surnames of your ancestors can give you a clue to who you are, where you are from but you ultimately create your own journey. Know that all that has gone before you has created the you that is in this place now but you can choose which road to travel on. Choose wisely. My joys, your surname was given to you because the people of your father created useful wonderful objects lovingly from the resources the earth gave us so you have that in you. My surname was created from a rebel who decided to leave his clan and start afresh for whatever reason and the Irish word for the legislature of Ireland, government if you will, is derived from that name. I take it that I should govern myself fairly and well and not suffer fools gladly even if they are in power. Power is momentary like everything and I can take mine back at any time. You can take what you will from it. Your father's mother's people are descended from Fionn and my mother's were of the spiritual line of another great Irish family, it's in the colour. That's the tip of the iceberg. My mother's mother's family name is of the land we live in now for many many centuries back to the ancient chieftains too and so on and so on ad infinitum through the ages, layers of wisdom, good and bad, sometimes foolish actions, emotions, deeds, thoughts, prayers and love, mostly love ... that's where you come from. The Oak standing strong and the Sword in the hand are your emblems. The names we gave you also have their own significance. Stand tall and be proud of where you come from but create your own path now. With love. xxx
