ID: Two versions of an 8-point turnaround of a Hebridean sheep character with a humanoid face. Her fur is an ashen gray, and her limbs, face, and four long horns are dark brown. The grooves in her horns, as well as the tips of her hooves, are golden in color. The first turnaround is in full color, and the second version is colorless and has ruler lines to measure various parts of the character. End ID.
ID: A layout of character exploration drawings for the sheep character in the previous turnaround, including three illustrations in various styles of slightly different sheep as well as sketches of facial shapes and general silhouettes. The three larger illustrations are labeled A, B,and C.
Some exploration of an important character in 'Glas', a visual development project I created at the beginning of 2024 after being assigned to create a project adapting a fairytale. It only felt fitting to start my development with her!
The story is (somewhat loosely) based on 'The Sharp Grey Sheep,' often called a Scottish version of Cinderella!
