More movies need one supernatural and metaphorical element that has no influence on the rest of the plot. Movie about a guy repairing cars to get closer to his son but he sometimes sees the same tree wherever he goes and it really bothers him. Coming of age movie where the main character is caught in a storm and really tall figures walk over her into the distance and then the next scene is a conversation with her mom about a party. Things like that.

Renfield doll project pt. 1. The body is still in the mail so we're getting ahead here, and starting with the head.

Basic paint and eyes bc it was like $5 on AliExpress. I'll probably add to the paint later, for the red-rimmed eyes and stubble and Edwardian waif aesthetic.

One pattern I found plus scrap fur for a wig. Might be a placeholder until I get a darker one.

Emo Boi needs a haircut

Lots of trimming later plus some finishing hairspray to make it behave like hair, and the wig is good enough! Def looks like a man who's been cutting his own hair for nearly a century. Still might buy him a better one (rn it's held on with fashion tape), but it's enough to see how hair will look while I add to the face while waiting for his body to arrive.
