honestly I don't think Kris was like super uncomfortable at this or anything.

At most, they seemed embarrassed and mildly annoyed (until they were trying to sleep ofc)

I suspect Susie is probably the one who's really uncomfortable in this scene, and I can hazard a couple guesses as to why that might be (as I'm sure anyone reading this can to) And i think Susie leaving was the main point that made Kris angry.

And even if they ARE genuinely uncomfortable around this beyond like standard irritation when dealing with a drunk person, Kris has the most perpetual poker face I've ever seen so any possible disregard for their feelings is at least a tad more understandable.

Point is, I don't think this scene is THAT bad and I don't even think Toriel is that bad of a parent all things considered. This was mainly just a badly timed break from all the bullshit happening in her life.
