wait so how old are you (for lack of a better term) “actually”? your bio says 25, is that your “body age”? i think that’s how i’ve heard it referred to before? if you don’t mind my asking of course <3

25 is how old i am physically and legally. our alters who are below that age that partake in posting about smiling friends are squim who is 18, gwimbly who is 19, and i think he is hiding a mr millipede somewhere in headspace but i cant tell yet. one new alter is enough. three is something that hasn't happened in a long time.

(obligatory forgive me if you did post about it and I just missed it!) What were your and Temerice's thoughts on the whole Ocean House Hotel quest? Did the elevator get you? :D

I dunno, that place just left the biggest impression on me on my first playthrough so I've been CURIOUS

OK SO FIRST OF ALL... I loved that damn quest. Because its the first moment where the game really really GOT me and made me realize how fucking scary it can be (King's way house and the nosferatu warrens being the other 2 maps that made me shit myself). LIKE I DID NOT EXPECT THE OCEAN HOUSE HOTEL TO ACTUALLY SCARE ME.

in fact i died to that fucking elevator the very first time. Where i was left with my mouth open in shock for a few seconds before reloading. Grout's mansion was a similar vibe for sure but not as genuinely scary

Temerice also did NOT expect a legit haunted house errand quest the moment she stepped in this hotel. In some instances she would've gone full yowling scream of terror I think. Especially in the kitchen when Everything was being thrown at her, or in the basement with the laundry room, etc

She's not per se a scaredy cat but she can get surprised and scared too, and the real scary moments got her as well (also while kind of cliché, the story behind the hotel haunting also made her feel shocked upon reading the diary entries).

Needless to say she was very fucking glad to get out of the hotel once all was done, because it was a genuinely unsettling environment!!! Shes like nope I am NOT getting in there again thanks!!

Some thoughts, observation, and questions after watching Duck Tales:

 Beware, there be spoilers.

·       Why aren’t the seagulls anthropomorphized in this world???

·       I wonder if Scrooge knows the AFLAC duck?

·       Why is Launchpad the only duck with pants?

·       The way that Scrooge uses his cane is a little bit sexy.

·       Who’s Dewey?

·       Dewey’s song/dance scene in Atlantis was priceless, I could so see Ben doing the dance in the studio.

·       I have a powerful need to see video of each of the main characters in the studio to see their facial expressions and body movements as they perform their voices. Especially David.

·       Is it bad that it’s more difficult to understand an English speaking Donald Duck over a Scottish speaking gazillionaire duck?

·       Scrooge not knowing the names of the nephews, priceless.

·       The nephews making fun of Scrooges accent, very funny.

·       The flat expressions of Scrooges face counteract David’s extremely animated voice inflections. But I still love Scrooge.

·       Is anyone else disturbed by the fact these ducks don’t seem to float on top of the water?

·       Looks like David has managed to get himself yet another role with a long coat. Apparently the long coat requirement in his contracts carries over to animation.  Well done.

·       I have a powerful need to see David Tennant in a top hat, cane, long waisted red coat, and spats.  Pants are optional.

·       Since I’m an adult with no kids, is it appropriate to watch Duck Tales ala no mas pantelones?

·       The humor is excellent, I laughed out loud several times.  Even the sight gags were great.

·       Glomgold stating, “Scrooge thinks he’s so rish, and so Scottish, but I’m wearing a kilt McDuck, A KILT!!!”

·       After watching the lovefest between David Tennant and Ben Schwartz over the past couple of days, the relationship between Scrooge and Dewey is even more priceless.

·       An angry duck is funny.  An angry Scotsman is funny.  But and angry Scottish duck is hilarious.  Donald angry is funny, but Scrooge angry is downright fabulous.

·       I wonder who David thinks is more adventurous; Scrooge McDuck or The Doctor?

·       Has The Doctor ever considered how his adventures might be enhanced by going without pants?

·       Webby is the best, and I love how she squees!

·       Dewey is definitely my favorite nephew.

·       “I am not your secretary!”

·       Less Donald, more Scrooge, please.

·       I’m already looking forward to Season 2 now that the writers and the world have seen how the cast interacts with each other.

·       Scrooge doesn’t have eyebrows but has very expressive upper eyelids.  He seems to favor his left eyelid/brow.

·       I need to see Scrooge in a kilt.

·       If they don’t do a Doctor Who reference within the first season I will be highly disappointed.
