Nothing like finding that rheumatologist’s Instagram while googling her name to find other places to review (I only found one so I left one.) And I feel immensely guilty for the review I left.

#I didn’t call her names or anything. I just said she was a poor doctor and inefficient and dismissive #which she WAS #obviously I know she’s a human being but I didn’t expect to find shared interests mixed in with medical posts #I can’t say it humanized her to me because I never dehumanized her. she’s actually not a bad person #she’s just a bad doctor #but I feel so bad now I almost want to take down that review #this is why I didn’t go because I wouldn’t be able to say stuff to her face #but knowing she might find those reviews…I dunno #this is why there’s a professional disconnect #I didn’t even go looking for her instagram I just checked out of curiosity and expected medical stuff #not life stuff mixed in with it #although she does boast about her many awards and papers #maybe you should spend more time with your patients #not just the ones that you can write papers about #I don’t like being rude to people. even doctors #probably delete later

Omg I just had a thought. Maybe everyone else already realized this but me. When Maggie and Sydney are talking in the hall in season 4, before Sydney introduces Maggie to the blind patient, Maggie tells Sydney a 'long list of almosts.' It wasn't long tbh, there was like 2 things, but I digress. THEN AT THE END OF THE EP SYDNEY TELLS MAGGIE THAT SHE IS HER ONLY ALMOST. THE ONLY ALMOST THAT SHE THINKS ABOUT/CARES ABOUT. ITS A REFERENCE BACK TO THAT CONVO
