I'm not only uploading my first fanvid in quite some time. I'm also uploading my first Sherlock fanvid I've ever made. I'm really surprised it's taken me this long. And it's not even the ship I ship.
Tagged by Casey!
Rule 1: Always post the rules
Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and come up with 11 new ones
Rule 3: Tag 12 people and link them to the post
Rule 4: Actually tell them you tagged them
1. Tell us why you like your height. Cause I'm just in the middle. I like it. I can fit into most things, yet I can just reach the top shelf in the kitchen. 2. Social issue that bothers you the most. Pretty much everything, but some big things are the educational system in America, and the concept of "not" being discriminatory of people by giving out special scholarship or job opportunities based on race/gender/etc instead of whether or not they actually earned it (have the skills, qualifications, test scores, etc.) That really ticks me off. 3. Do you want kids? If so give us a # I'll probably scare guys off with this! Yes! I want a big family. And I also want to adopt. But a minimum of four, biologically. After that, I'd love to adopt, and if another one happens, then so be it. I don't want to be the Duggars, but I'd like to have a loud, crazy, happy house. 4. Tell us a funny story about someone flirty. Hmmm, at the grocery store a while back, both the cashier and the bagger seemed extremely determined to shower me in the most compliments. It was crazy and made me laugh so much. Everything was awesome, to them. My hair, my outfit, my glasses, my food choices. Everything! 5. Last video on youtube you had open. A cover of Master's of War by Ed Sheeran 6. What group that you’re part of gets bad rep in media? (IE Tall people, white people, red heads etc): (former) Homeschoolers 7. Would you ever describe yourself as sexy? Why or why not? HA. No. I'm not a "bombshell" by any means of the word. I've been told I'm cute, darling, adorable, unique, etc, but never sexy. Heck, when I try to look "sexy", I end up with triple chins and duck lips! 8. If you were offered a job modeling in high fashion would you take it? Actually, yes. For fun, I suppose. I've done some modelling for a few friends' companies, but people have always told me I should go into it. But since I don't really have an "iconic" beauty, I've never bothered trying to get a job doing it. But if it falls into my lap? Sure, why not? 9. What celeb or character would you like to help you up after you fall in a puddle? Hmmmm Bradley Cooper or a straight Zachary Quinto. Orrrrr David Beckham/Adam Levine. 10. Give us a profound quote. So hard when I reblog so many quotes daily! Hmm.
"Earth's crammed with Heaven. And every common bush afire with God. But only he who sees it takes off his shoes - the rest sit round it and pluck blackberries." -Elizabeth Barrett Browning
11. Christmas tradition? Presents on Christmas Eve, stockings on Christmas Morning. And midnight Christmas Eve candle-lit service.
I tag Mig, Hannah, Casey, Lydia, Lindsey, Rachel, Gabrielle, Rebecca, Abby, Kalina, and Kate.
Qs for you:
1. What fictional character would you name a pet after? 2. Last song you listened to? 3. Your go-to book when you're bored? 4. What's your "usual" at a coffee shop? 5. Most attractive personality trait in the opposite sex? 6. Vegetable you least like? 7. Something you most often lie about? 8. Fashion fad you find the strangest? 9. Question you hate being asked by relatives: 10. Favorite Christmas food/treat: 11. Most played song in your iTunes?

My favorite blend at Teavana is the CocoCaramel and Chocolate Truffle! It tastes like cake in liquid form warming the drinker from head to toe!
Wow-that sounds scrumdiddlyumptiopus Hannah! I've only been a few times but I have this chai and mate-oolong tea that is simply the best picker-upper on a rainy day. XD

Always plodding along.
Where does it come from? The pain of time passing, thinking of youthful memories with sadness, watching what you remember one way soon grow tired looking and old. I've been made to cry with this thought of time relentlessly continuing on, for as long as I can recall.
Something about the combination of moving on, and mortality has always been able to conjure tears with the slightest hint of it. I remember going to see Peter Pan for school, and ever since, that play makes my heart hurt so much. Peter represents childhood, fun, and dreaming, and Wendy gives that up to grow old, only to have him return the same, but never be able to revisit that side herself.
It goes back to books and movies like, Big, A Separate Peace, The Impressionists, Brideshead Revisited, North & South, even Doctor Who. The themes in all of these of growing old, times changing, and everything simply moving on, gets to me on a level of nostalgia &/or deeply rooted sentimental tendencies.
The thought of growing up used to frighten me, in fact, it still does. To me, the future holds uncertainty, it means I have to become one of the responsible people that have always been there to support and help me. I have to take that up, and take their place when they inevitably pass on. It means I will one day be the person that others come to, the one others rely on, but because of that, I know it means the people I have always relied on, have left this earth and I will no longer be able to seek their comfort or advice.
Life is change, it's pain, it's joy, it's heartache, it's loss, and it's beautiful, but it's so short. When you're blessed, from some of your earliest deep memories, with the realization that everything changes when you grow up, how does that influence your path? It makes you happy with what is, and grateful for so much, but a very somber individual on the inside.
Someday everything will have faded, people grown, events having changed the world, and I too will inevitably follow due course, but at least for tomorrow I'm still 18, tomorrow my parents and siblings are all still alive, tomorrow the world is still in working order, tomorrow...
Tonight however, I will shut my laptop, pray for a peace that passes all understanding, and wait to drift into a slumber wherein I can forget these constant contemplations of mine, and rest.
If this is a common thread of thought, let me know okay?
