Father’s Day

And it was the absolute best conversation I could have had with him. I learned from him, we talked about tv a little, I cried, and we discussed theology and life. I look up to my dad for how he began his career and how he accomplished so much. Our personal relationship has been strained in the past for various reasons, but finally we are connecting in a way that I have wanted for so long.

My life is 10x better for him being my dad for so many reasons. As much as he’s given me things to emulate, he’s shown me how I don’t want to be and what I don’t want to settle for in my life. I couldn’t have been given a better dad.
