@sweet7simple Whirl/Rung is so interesting to me because it’s like letting a terrier start digging in a bed of flowers and the dog may or may not put the dirt back lol. Good choice though they’d be such a fun duo to explore its the tension and the angst for sure.

i like whirlrung for lots of reasons (whirl calling rung his friend, the king scraplet rung idea leading to a cool au where he helps whirl with the scraplet baby) but i think my favorite one is just how funny it is to make god a disgraced psychologist who married an ex patient

Toxic Whirlrung but you can’t forget Rung is also toxic to Whirl. Whirl canonically smashes his head against walls to “Knock out the bad violent thoughts” and Rung is just like “Yeah he believes that actually works just let him keep thinking and doing that”

No therapist or partner should allow something like this.

Didn't Rung actually lose his license before the events of MTMTE and he just. Kept practicing anyway because he was the only surviving member off the ship and nobody knew until the Froid and Sunder situation later on? (Though iicr the reason he lost his license was at least a little bullshit, and he did retire after that was revealed)
