Huge Pattern Release this week in our @hi.ravelry shop to celebrate this month’s virtual @vogueknitlive. Be sure to tune in to @thecrochetcove vendor market hour on Thursday June 11th starting at 8pm EST to stock up on yarn! Each pattern produced comes with schematics and YouTube tutorial videos to help you add new techniques and stitches to your crochet toolbox! The #whirlwindponcho Is not only a mini #poncho but can also be worn as a cowl. Worked from the top down. Great for beginners, as a first garment project or a quick project for an experienced #crocheter to give as a gift or keep for themselves. Made by holding two worsted weight yarns held together, it makes for a perfect stash busting project. Techniques used includes, working in the round, foundation double crochet, double crochet, and increasing. Notes and Measurements Can be made with two Aran Weight strands, two Worsted Weight strands of yarn held together or using one bulky strand of yarn by itself. Each will result in a different type of garment. The Aran weight will create a more open and lighter fabric (pictured here), while the worsted will be a bit denser and stitches will be more prominent. The bulky weight will create a dense fabric with high stitch definition. I have made a combination of them all through the years and they have made great gifts. Finished measurements: Neck opening 12 in [30 cm] flat, 24 in [61cm] in diameter Length—15 in [38 cm] Measurement at chest—20 in [51cm] across, 40in [102cm] in diameter #crochetdesigner #knitandcrocheteverydamnday #fiercehook #thecrochetcove #crochetersofinstagram #crochetdesignersofinstagram #yarnpunk #yarn #cowl #poncho #slowfashion #slowfashionmovement #ravelry #crochetersofravelry #bipocmakers #bistitchual #njmom #njmaker #makersofnj #northjerseysmallbusiness #njmompreneur (at Morristown, New Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBN-iixpFA1/?igshid=1goehjzi4jbxe
