bb. I am skipping d*c too. Way too much sensory input, and hard to mesh schedules.
I'm not even pretending to go for the celebrities anymore (unless we're counting you people as celebrities, which I wouldn't actually argue) and it's just a lot of expense & a lot of stress for sporadic hangouts.
crying again* this morning for a very different reason. I have got so many fantastic people around me. truly. love you guys, okay?
singing loudly, so far it's looking like a better day.
*- only a bit and laughing in the process
✍ - Story from your childhood, please?
When I was in fourth grade, I had a pony. He was a mean, ornery pony with a mohawk and a vicious bite (he never bit me, but he bit pretty much everyone else). He hated being ridden. He bucked me off his back into some cactus. He ran away many times. But I loved him and I was convinced he loved me.

Read here.
Summary: After the end of World War I, Major Gregory Lestrade thinks he will remain in the Army until he retires. When he is offered the opportunity to become tutor to Mycroft Holmes's six children, however, he must make a decision that may affect the rest of his life.
Thoughts: A good slow burn fic! & based on The Sound of Music, how could you ever resist?
All the loving research poured into this fic was fantastic to read. I felt like I really knew Lestrade's position & his perils thanks to all the details the author provided. The fic does a great job in general of examining Greg's life & his wants/desires & the struggles he goes through dealing with his class & his disposition. I just wanted him to be happy the whole time I was reading!
It makes his meeting of Mycroft & all six of his children even more fun. The children are curious & wonderful & not overbearing in the story to the point where you feel like you're focused too much on them. Instead, they bring out lots of good qualities in Greg & Mycroft while still being interesting in their own right. I wanted to know more about them & the life that Mycroft & Greg will build up around them.
I loved the side story of John being the previous tutor, but galvanting with Sherlock off to god knows where. I wanted to hear more about their adventures, but of course, they weren't the focus of this one. They were a great addition to the fic in a mirror to the relationship growing between Mycroft & Greg.
There's not any singing or ringing hills or nuns, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this <3

whiskeydaisy replied to your photo:Is that mold growing inside my camelbak top?
Probably. It’s why I stopped using Camelbaks with bite valves.
