The datapad he’d been left with upon arrival may double as a communication device, but it’s completely useless when it comes to actually getting in touch with anyone that can help him get off the planet. The comlink on his wrist is also unfortunately of no use; there’s no signal, apparently. It’s a strangely isolating feeling. Anakin is not unfamiliar with crashing somewhere and having to seek out civilization when looking for a means to leave, but the odd thing about this place is that he’s smack dab in the middle of civilization, and yet still struggling to find a way off the planet. Finding a way to leave really shouldn’t take this long.
This place doesn’t even seem to have a spaceport, and he hasn’t seen a single ship in the sky since he’s arrived. And that wouldn’t necessarily be unusual... if he weren’t in a bustling city.
If there is in fact no way of borrowing a ship to leave on his own, that means he needs to get in touch with the Jedi or the Grand Army of the Republic or -- someone. Honestly, at this point, even getting in touch with someone like Hondo would be great...
❝ You know where I could find a working comm station? ❞ he asks, brisk; he’s clearly lacking patience. ❝ I need to comm someone off-planet. ❞
@whisperedshadow, being stranded is such a pain. / ♥
