Today is (probably) the 20th anniversary of Goodnight, and Have a Pleasant Tomorrow

The first CD release show for this album (that I am aware of) took place on April 15th, 2006, at where else but Kilby Court, followed by another on April 22nd at the Velour Live Music Gallery.

The only piece of interesting trivia I have for you about this release is that there seems to be two slightly different CD variants (or what some might call a printing error on certain copies) basically the cover art seems to have darker and lighter variants. Here's an example of both just ignore the other things I didn't crop from the picture of wow oh gosh my cool CDs don't look

"The average 2000s alternative band generates 5 Christmas songs" is actually a statistical error. The average total Christmas songs generated by a 2000s alternative band & subsequent activity from the members is actually 0-2. The Brobecks, who love making and then re-making Christmas songs both together and separately from each other for a total of at least 16, are outliers and should not have been counted.

nah I'm like genuinely mad now. you're telling me that not one of the four grown men in this band could come up with like 5 sentences to describe their project? a project they've been in since 2002? they can make a documentary, but they can't write a few sentences? they need a machine to do that for them?

do you think they'd be cool if I went out and made an ai model, trained it only using music they've created without asking them, and then passed off everything it shit out as my own? or would that count as theft and be wrong? gee. it's almost like that's what using ai does to every creative. it steals from drawings and paintings, music, written works, fucking anything.

it's the solo project of mike gross from the brobecks and the music is super super good, it's pretty chill and a lot of it has big nostalgia vibes, plus it's similar to older brobecks songs since he wrote a lot of them!
