my horse does the same thing, she loves to jump, and if I have jumps set up in an arena while free lunging her, she'll lock on and jump them for fun. all on her own :)

Yep! A horse wont do something unless it doesn't want to. They feel things, I believe that completely. A few days ago I was cantering my horse and he tripped and we fell, rather than freak out he came up to me and nuzzled me on the ground until I got up because he was so worried. He's presh, haha.

Exactly, and you think since Gonchar is from his hometown that he would be Val's outlet. I bet he would be frustrated and this is a bit faster of pace than he might have been ready for, but he never seemed that upset lol

Yeah, exactly, the whole thing is just ridiculous and even with some frustration, I reaaaally doubt Val would comment on it like that. I mean, obviously Russian-speaking journalists will interview Val in Russian without Gonch or that translator the Stars hired (had his name somewhere but forgot), but apparently it went like this:

reporter does interview with Val in Russian -> Val talks or doesn’t talk about a trade?!?! -> no one reports on anything -> time goes by -> Val seems to like Ruff’s system? -> reporter does another interview with Val in Russian -> asks about omnious interview no one ever heard of -> Val is like, wtf are you talking about? -> reporter publishes article based on new interview and references old one that no one even knew existed, tells us Val wanted a trade

And that’s pretty wtf in itself.

I read that val article too, I just think he's having a rough time with the change, he just needs some time ya know?

Did he make the comment or not is the question, I guess, did that journalist trick him into it or flat out uses the situation (russian baby rookie being rightfully bounced around on the lines a bit, no one can check the interview since it’s done in russian, etc)?

I mean, I totally agree that he has generally a difficult time and has been working his ass off starting like the minute after the draft, given what’s written in the articles, and that everyone should just chill out and wait, but at the same time I’m so annoyed that this is written about him and no one knows for sure. Like, we can of course never know for sure, but it’s so frustrating that we know so very little. If Val really was that unhappy, even if he isn’t anymore, I’d have liked to have some, idk, indicator?

It kind of all comes together for me here, the way the Stars handle the fans-players relation, the way there is generally so little information on anything and you find out more listening to Razor comment on stuff he talked to the players about in breaks during a game than from the actual Stars website, and now there is this journalist walking right over Nichu and I’d love to defend him but idk how, and the DBD article has all the points, but it’s just… no information. *sighs*

Frustrating. The whole thing. But especially this.
