@everclan Thought I’d join in on the infinite Guststar polycule while it’s still pride month! Featuring Daisytalon, resident fierce badass and famously very very bisexual :3 (well, famously to me lol)

In the background, her partners Flarestar and Rainwish are voicing their complete and total support of Daisytalon joining said infinite Guststar polycule, although they won’t be joining themselves hehe

(Flarestar is, perhaps unfortunately, a cis straight man lol, and Rainwish would prefer to get to know her partners as friends for a while first.)

(Now that I’ve revealed that the members of Whistleclan ended up in a polycule, I can finally post this!!!)

So, as you may be able to tell, I’ve given this blog a little makeover! It will now follow the adventures of Scoriaclan, completely unrelated to Whistleclan in any way. (And yes I have been working on Scoriaclan stuff for a few weeks now, this time I’m actually planning ahead and creating a backlog so I hopefully won’t run out of steam quite so fast!! Looking forward to introducing you to everyone :3)

However, before I start posting all that, I thought I’d give the cats of Whistleclan a bit of a sendoff, ‘cause I’m gonna miss ‘em. So here’s one last drawing of our main three together!

Their full names ended up being Flarestorm, Daisytalon, and Rainwish, although Flarestorm only spent a couple moons as a warrior before taking his nine lives and becoming Flarestar, with Daisytalon as his deputy. A few moons in the future, Flarestar and Daisytalon became mates, and not too long after that, Rainwish became mates with the two of them as well! Founders polycule real!!!!!

Drawing this made me realize that I missed them more than I thought, so I may end up drawing/posting them again sometime. However, I think I just bit off more than I could chew trying to make the story of Whistleclan for my first comic ever.

⛰️ for the ask game!!

Thank you ever so much for the ask, and my apologies for taking so long to reply. I was trying to decide what to say, because there is quite a bit of lore but I wanted to try and reveal a lot of it through the story itself. However, there is one big piece of the story that would be difficult to tell through the pov of the cats.

You may remember that a while back I shared a map of what Whistleclan and their neighboring clans’ territory looks like. You may remember that there was a little twolegplace in the bottom right corner, on Whistleclan territory. This was the place Daisypaw was taken when she was captured by twolegs. Well.

This place is in fact a twoleg cult compound. The cult is devoted to an ancient eldritch entity, and had plans to awaken this entity to channel its power for their own ends. The exact entity doesn’t matter. Suffice it to say, it's something that resides deep in the ocean, and it has tentacles. You see where this is going. They had intended to summon it to the end of their dock, and they had the animal sacrifices ready to go, but unfortunately they got the location a liiitttle bit off. The entity ended up being summoned a few miles down the shoreline instead, right outside of the old Whistleclan camp, and took the members of the clan as its sacrifices. The twolegs, meanwhile, are just confused and upset about their ritual failing. They have plans to try it again. There is nothing the cats can do to hinder the entity. It is awake now.

Additionally, if you would like to decode any encrypted messages that may be showing up in posts and you happen to need a keyword, I might recommend looking back through old moon updates to find any oddly emphasized letters :3

Well, I have played a good 40 something moons into the future so I know exactly who ends up with who hehehehe but I feel like at this point in the story, it makes sense to reveal this:

I Still Exist

Wassup buddies, I swear I’m still working on Whistleclan stuff, but it’s finals week for me so I’ll probably barely work on art or post anything until at least after next Tuesday. Here’s a doodle of our favorite Whistleclan trio from my math notebook to tide y’all over!! Rest assured, once i’m on break for summer, there will be more updates!!

Hi there guys! Thank you to those of you who have shown interest in my silly kitties already, despite knowing almost nothing about them!! I really appreciate it. I’d like to tell you that I’m almost finished with the first page!! It’s taking me literally forever because i’ve never made a comic before and I’m having a little trouble learning how to format things and stuff like that. Rest assured though that you won’t have to wait too much longer to meet Whistleclan for real :D

Also, expect possibly drastic style changes and (hopefully) improvements within the first few pages as I scale the learning curve of making something of this scale for the very first time >:3
