A Man Angry At Political "Elites" Allegedly Tried To Burn Down Democrats' Spokane County Headquarters

The man was initially suspected of threatening to bomb the building on Wednesday.

“Peter Yeager, a 45-year-old resident of Grand Coulee, Washington, was initially suspected of threatening to bomb the building on Wednesday, but police said the items in his backpack turned out to be gasoline and oil that were used to start the fire.”

Huh. Not politically affiliated, but went to burn down the headquarters of the Democrats.

I have been held at gunpoint 6 times in the last three years. And, I can tell you that a person who carries a gun in public is already judgementally compromised. What’s going to set them off? Who knows! They are the least likely person to be able to answer that question.

Therefore, it’s not so much intent that’s the problem. They might have the best of intentions. But they’re emotionally stunted and judgementally compromised. Intent doesn’t matter if you’re reaching for you gun because a text message upset you.
