I visited the White Wagon Park today. It appears that much of the trail has been swallowed by the river but I did get to see a lot of great tracks in the mud.

The week started out well. I took a walk at White Wagon Park on Monday. The last time I was there seven months ago, the trail had been swallowed up by the river because of the spring thaw. This time, I got to go all the way to the end, scaring up deer, turkeys, ducks, and squirrels along the way. Then, while cooking dinner, I got a double-yolker! We used to get eggs with two yolks often when we had our own chickens but they’re fairly rare to find in standard large grocery store cartons. I also got out into the garden and cut the last few flowers before the frosts took them all. And then I hurt my back and everything come to a screeching halt. At least my recovery is giving me an excuse to get back to my cross-stitching. And my cat loves having someone to sleep on.
