Alright, alright! I’ve gotten a lot of questions about authors and fanfiction that I love to read, so I figured that I should mention one of the authors whose writing I’ve recently become somewhat infatuated with. Because I like pain and every now and then crying is a good thing, okay?

whiteelephanthills is just as sweet as can be! Absolutely kind and supportive, I started reading her stuff when she asked for my opinion, which I felt like was a huge compliment. And let me tell you, I am enjoying it! Her Royai alphabet series, absorbing everything, the spectrum’s A to Z, is fantastic. Quite a few of them have to do with Roy and Riza having a kid, but hers is the first that I read where they have a daughter instead of a son, and it is SO SO CUTE. She also writes a lot of angsty stuff that tugs at my heart and then breaks it. Awesome, right? never a tear, baby of mine made me cry for like an hour, I swear. But yes! Not only a lovely person, but a wonderful writer!

I know you don't participate in the fma fandom anymore and I'm honestly probably going to cut ties with it myself and delete my ao3 account. But I just wanted to say I love love love your fics. I reread some of them today and they're just stellar

OKAY FIRST OF ALL PLEASE DON’T DELETE YOUR AO3 ACCOUNT!!! I know how deflating it is to fall out of love with a fandom. It’s happened to me many, many times. But I’ve deleted fics in frustration before and never have I not regretted it later. It’s fandom that suck not your writing and efforts to improve.

Now that I’ve said that, thank you so much!! I’m happy you enjoyed them and I so rarely hear back from people on my FMA stuff. So bless you. You are a wonderful human being!! 😍

(Seriously though please reconsider deleting your account just because you’re fed up with a fandom. There’s always another one waiting to love you.)

I have that exact same problem with the exact same song. Like I love his voice and the chorus but the the dude in the song is such a fuckboy

Do you know of other authors who've done the 100 drabbles? And do you know of any good alphabet series's?

Writing-Royza is an incredible writer that I think a lot of people look over. They’re in their second round of the 100 drabbles. SECOND. Theirs is titled under Snap Shots, which you can find on ff.net as well. I absolutely love their writing. What an incredible inspiration too.

Another 100 drabbles person is BleedingCoffee. They haven’t done all 100, but they’ve picked and chosen their way through and some of their prompts are multi-chaptered. And they also have their own Royai drabble collection that isn’t the 100.

As for the alphabet series, I’ve mentioned Janiesha before because she’s a fantastically talented writer. Her Alphabet Series is what got me hooked on prompt/drabble compilations and gave me the idea to do my own alphabet series. But she’s WAY better and more imaginative!

I recently blew through absorbing everything, the spectrum’s A to Z by aheartmadefullmetal. Those are some brilliant drabbles too, filled with so many bittersweet feelings that you don’t know whether to cry or smile half the time while reading them.

There are plenty more, but I’m still hunting them down or just can’t think of them off the top of my head. Happy reading!

Did you say what Sig's daemon was? Or Maria Ross and Denny's?

I did mention Denny’s and Maria Ross’ daemons! I picture both of them having pretty typical daemons for being in the military, both canines, Maria with a black lab and Denny with a shetland sheepdog. I think while most civilians picture soldiers having dog daemons that are more construed as dangerous and “attack” dogs or sniffers, a surprising amount of people in the military have herding dogs. And I just can’t see Maria with anything else but a beautiful black lab. They two daemons work incredibly well together, but are also quite playful and close with one another. Denny’s daemon was depressed for a long time after Maria’s fake-death, believing to have lost both of her partners.

I haven’t talked about Sig’s daemon at all! Which is wild because I wrote about Izumi in the second daemon AU fic where I talk about Edward, Alphonse, and human transmutation. How the hell did I miss that one? Izumi’s daemon is a black mamba. Similar to my problem with Alex Armstrong, I can’t decide if I want something big or small for Sig because that would be awesome. Maybe like a cane toad? That way I can kind of have both – just a huge version of a normally small animal. Plus, an amphibian daemon and a snake daemon? How cool and weird of a pairing would that be!
