( He was so young then, and to think he was the leader of her son's squad—- there was no one she could trust more with the task. ) Taking a seat across him, she continues their conversation.

          A  frustrated  groan  threatened  to  leave  pink  lips  before  being  bitten  back ,  a  frustrated  glare  slipping  onto  her  face  instead .  Sakura  wanted  to  smack  Kakashi  upside  the  head  for  almost  tearing  his  stitches  out ,  again ,  but  ( barely )  held  back  the  urge .  The  man  was  injured  enough  without  her  adding  to  the  extensive  list ,  no  matter  how  frustrating  he  was .

         ❝ That  is  putting  it  lightly ,  senpai .  It’s  practically  a  medical  miracle  that  you  didn’t  die  from  infection  before  I  could  get  to  you .  Now  lean  back  and  stop  talking ,  you  need  to  save  your  strength .  ❞ A  slight  smile  curled  at  the  corner  of  Sakura's  lips  before  she  coughed  and  glanced  down  at  Kakashi’s  wounds  with  a  critical  eye .  ❝ Are  you  in  pain  ?? Is  there  anything  I  missed  ?? ❞
