He designed this park with #fountains that flowed with #sparlingchampagne so beloved by the English & (in 1660's still loathed by the #French) & bridges over the lake - his fanciful parks were inspired by his cousin #kinglouisxiv #sunking who built #Versailles both men had that #medici #mitachondrial blood-line inclining them towards the arts & to seek advice from women & to hire women as their #architects #spies & #gardeners (at St James's Park)
