he is one of the people I truly look up to when it comes to his work, especially regarding speaking about his racial identity. it is genuinely emotional to the point of bringing me to tears when I listen to him talk about his experiences as a mixed race individual and the sense of fulfillment and realisation that I’m not alone is one I’ve never felt before. his approach of describing himself as #bothnothalf gave me an epiphany. that sense of claiming one’s entire identity was something I had never had before.
