This plant was unknown to me. Did some google searches & I believe it's something called White Snakeroot (Ageratina altissima). Its name came from the erroneous belief that a root poultice was a cure for snake bites. This plant is toxic. It contains tremetol which poisons livestock & can be passed to offspring & humans who consume their milk.
