Pimped @moraknives Mora 106 whittler .

 As a few of my friends also use these knives I decided to make mine my own.

I etched the laminate blade in ferric to show off the high carbon core/ cladding  lines and also etched the bolster after carving in my 3 line motif .

The barrel shaped birch wood handle has been textured using pryrography which gives a great grip . It was darkened using dark brown leather dye which was then rubbed back with wire-wool for an aged effect and added a small metal pommel charm to mask the end of the tang .

I don’t know for sure but think it may be some type of oak , 3,5 mm high carbon steel with CF pins and lanyard tube .
