The Who Iceberg Explained - pt. 1
the iceberg
part 2
requested by uh i forgot tbh anyway i got two hours of sleep last night so this is gonna be awesome. okay so the last three layers of the who iceberdg:
Karen hitting Pete with a wooden spoon
Roger’s suicide attempt at 14
Pete’s 1971 “attempt”
(it’s a bit unclear but I do think it counts in some respects. I have no explanation for the mafia hallucinations and bloody nose like he was sober wtf happened is he schizophrenic 😭)
the vore song
Keith Moon suicide conspiracy
(Why is this band so suicidal) Just a pure tinfoil conspiracy that some fans have that Keith’s death wasn’t an accident because he took like 32 tablets, and the lethal dose is 5. So that's like insane even for Keith Moon. And also because Keith wasn’t happy. Here’s a quote from Pamela Des Barres:
Additionally, the bloody incident with Roger. Potentially could’ve been a first attempt, or truly an accident, though it's still concerning:
Plus, his behavior leading up to his death is quite peculiar. We all know he called Pete (and Roger) (and probably John too) every night to tell them he loved them, which could’ve been a way of saying goodbye and making sure they knew he loved them before he was gone. Again, just playing devil’s advocate i’m not saying that’s what happened
Roger’s blackface and that special word
Roger appeared on CSI as a murderer (i think) who used disguises (/ref) to remain unrecognized. One of the disguises… was a black woman
This is the clip of Roger saying the word idk what the ethics are for sharing a video with the n-word in it though (I’m not black) so I bleeped it out but I don’t know how to edit I just. idk
