I don’t think I’ve felt this way about a music video in my life. I feel so overwhelmed with love and support and just oh my gosh, it’s too much to even process. Every little bit of this video was amazing I felt SEEN. I felt NOTICED. I’m so glad our younger brothers and sisters are growing up in a world where being brown and dark skinned is not seen as something to hate rather something to embrace. I am so thankful for the awakening that frankly social media and each individual person has had in terms of accepting their skin. It has rippled through and helped me in more ways than I know, I have a long way to go but gosh i am so thankful to so many of you. To so many of the confident black women and men, boys and girls and individuals who keep on being their undefined self. I appreciate this so much, words can’t even show how much I appreciate this video and the accepting of brown and dark skin. Thank you so much <3
