A healthier twist on classic buffalo chicken pizza, featuring a whole wheat crust and the perfect balance of spicy buffalo sauce, tender chicken, and creamy blue cheese.
Ingredients: 1 whole wheat pizza crust. 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce. 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles. 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C. On a floured surface, roll out the whole wheat pizza crust to the thickness you want. Lay the dough out on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Salt and pepper should be mixed together in a small bowl with olive oil. Spread this mixture out on the pizza crust in a thin layer. Cover the crust with buffalo wing sauce, leaving a thin edge around the edges. Spread the blue cheese crumbles, red onion slices, shredded chicken, and mozzarella cheese out evenly over the buffalo sauce. Place the pizza in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take the pizza out of the oven and add fresh cilantro on top. Enjoy your tasty Whole Wheat Buffalo Chicken Pizza after you cut it up and serve it.
