            She could only stare, mouth not even open to say her next sentence, as Mallymkun casually killed the newcomer. He wasn’t a threat to them (possibly) and he had done no one any harm (maybe.) The human can only look between the mouse and the body laying at her feet, a defeated sigh escaping her after a long moment.  ❛ And this is why I remind you, we now have to hide the body. Unless you want it to be found and have some chase occur that ends with us escaping into another world, then fine. But that won’t stop me from reminding you. . . At least to keep the bodycount to a minimum. ❜

                         it wasn’t that this place — wherever this place was — wasn’t IMPRESSIVE, as her dear friend The Doctor would say. it certainly was, what with the trees that grew in many different colours, giant mushrooms, strange noises in the forest ... it simply wasn’t where he’d promised they would end up! and now, after what must have been hours of sitting and waiting for him to find out what’d gone wrong with the TARDIS, Irene found she’d grown bored. ‘ I won’t be goin’ very far, ‘ she’d told him, but a couple minutes down what seemed like a path ... and everything had started to look the same. ❝ futz, he’s goin’ to bump me off... ❞ she murmured, pausing for a moment to catch her surroundings ... before the sight of something ( someone, perhaps, if she were lucky? ) to the right caught her attention.

Yes, she had been looking at a cactus, mainly because she was thinking her flat needed some sort of plant life to it. But she wasn’t expecting someone, especially a stranger, to just pop up out of nowhere and make a comment on it. She wasn’t even sure she understood what he said. “Sorry, um. You are?”
