Eventually Tim and Jay's heats sync up, and their instincts demand that they nest together. They fight it for as long as they can, by turns they're either too proud to nest down with the other or too worried that they're not 'omegaing' properly and the other will judge them (Jason fights more strenuously than Tim, Tim is largely fronting, he's wanted to share Robin's Jay's nest for years now) but eventually it hurts too much and stresses them out too much and they curl up together in the softest, prettiest nest either has ever seen.
(Bruce has to chase Kon away from the premises, all the whole grumbling because he wants to curl up in that nest as well! But Tim and Jay would both have to invite a guest, so instead Bruce and Kon and Dick and Damian sit there, watching and consumed with jealously and lust.)
I blame whumpbby for getting me addicted to Mom Jason and Baby Damian. Her fic You’re a Murder Waiting to Happen is one of my favorite fics. Now I have so many Umm’i Jason headcanons.

Jason get’s impregnated by talia when he’s catatonic. She steals his baby from his body and pass it off as hers and Bruce.
He has no memories of the baby he carried or that he was ever pregnant but shit an’t adding up and he has vivid dreams of baby he cradles, loves, and nurses. He first just tries to chalk it up to an over active imagination
But he has stretch marks and then there was a time he heard a baby cry and he started to LEAK MILK.
Honestly Jason has some serious suspicions but he’s too afraid if he goes searching, he won’t be able to handle the truth. But he can’t shake the feeling that there is a baby out there somewhere that needs him.
Roy shares his concerns and encourages Jason to seek out the baby that they don’t even know exists.
Roy knows something doesn’t add up as recalls all the postpartum symptoms he went through with Lian. postpartum symptoms Jason is clearly exhibiting.
Imagine their surprise and horror when they discover that Talia passed off Jason’s baby as hers and he’s now living in the Manor. Oh and he’s also Bruce’s kid.
Tears just start running down Jason’s eyes as soon as he spots Damian in the library. That’s his baby and he is never letting him go!
Side note: I can’t decide how old I want Damian to be. All I know is that he needs to be small. I teeter between a baby just shy of tuning one or a toddler with clear memories of his Umm’i.
I really can’t stand to have Jason and Damian separated for more than a year
Either way Damian recognizes his Umm’i immediately and there is a tearful reunion between the two.
The rest of the batfamily is absolutely shocked and outrage with how low Talia stooped to tie herself permanently to Bruce.
But they are absolutely not letting anything happen to Jason and Damian again. It ends with everyone getting along and both Jason, Bruce, Dick, and Alfred raining little Damian to be the most adorable bat ever.

Now the child abuse part: Talia tries to raise Damian the league way when he was in her care. Jason obviously wouldn’t have it and tries to do everything in his power to keep his baby out of her hands but he’s freshly out of the Lazarus pit and can hardly take care of himself.
Damian grows to absolutely adore his Umm’i and listen to Jason more than Talia and she hates it. She fakes Jason’s death and serves Damian his “head” on a silver platter for disobeying her.
Poor traumatized baby thought his Umm’i was dead the entire time during their separation.
So glad to see more people agreeing that Jason is DEFINITELY a Ravenclaw, and could be a Slytherin if he wanted to... For the longest time I only saw Gryffindor!Jason and thats just NOT JASON. Quintessentially NOT THE CORE OF HIS PERSONALITY. That smol child was more excited to do homework than patrol, and there is comic book panel proof!
Real talk? I feel like I can make a pretty decent argument for putting any of them in any house. There are just certain parallels, juxtapositions, and narrative foils I like better than others.
Everyone has their preferences and I love hearing how people come to their conclusions. @m00nslippers, @whumpbby, and I all have different opinions (except with Jay) but I think we all come from a place of understanding the characters and where we diverge is how we prioritize different aspects (of the characters and the Houses) according to our interests/readings/perspectives.
Unlike a conversation I had with a small group of people who all put Jason in Slytherin and their defense of that decision was ‘because ‘he kills people’. Not even because he’s cunning, ruthless, and arrogant–which are literally the barest surface scratch attributes–no other rationale. Just, ‘because he kills people’. Like, there is a really good argument to be made that Jason would fit in Slytherin. But it’s not that. (It’s what m00n said ;) )

It’s a shortened form of the Japanese hamusutā, which means ‘hamster’. Yeah, the animal. If you ever watched old school Cartoon Network you may be familiar with Hamtaro, which kind of puts into perspective the adorableness surrounding the word hamu. Specifically, @whumpbby has an AU idea where all the humans are anthropomorphised or have animal traits and in it Jason is a hamster-human. And it’s freaking adorable. I drew this for it a while ago.
If Sidon was to pick a subject to familiarise himself with its race, it would be prudent to pick the best possible one, wouldn’t it? He was so very lucky to have the Hero himself willing to help him with his research! Nothing short of the best was good enough! There was a faint idea poking at the back of his head that maybe he’s being unfair by spoiling himself with such perfection and that it will cloud his opinion of other Hylians. Because, of course, no one will ever measure up to Link!
