If you're down for it “I won’t leave.” Piper/Nate?
Sure! :D Thanks for the ask!

Cold. With a wind that sucked the life right out of you. What little he had left. And dark, too. By now the light was fading from the sky, casting them into frigid gloom. A few rotten old boards in the rough shape of a house didn’t help much.
Piper was worried. She didn’t try to hide it. Hovered close, mindful of the tourniquet. He held her hand and thought that might be the only warm thing left on earth.
“You’re turning blue, Blue.” She managed to laugh. Always laughing, as if that could chase the chill away.
He shut his eyes and tried to smile, “I’ll be alright.” Maybe.
She seemed to think that would require some assistance. The help he really needed couldn’t be reached in this weather. They’d have to wait it out as best they could and improvise in the meantime. A blanket. A small fire - scrap wood, it wouldn’t last. Her, too, pressing close. Mindful of hastily bound wound.
Before Nate might have protested so much assistance. He wasn’t quite so foolish to pretend that trying to do any of it himself would be a good idea. And admittedly, staying so close carried its own comfort. Not something he had any keenness to dissuade.
Her hand stroked his cheek, clever hazel eyes picking all the details out on his face like she’d never seen them once before, let alone a thousand times.
“You should get some rest.” Nate mumbled into the smoky scent of her hair.
She hesitated. Unnaturally long. And he tilted his gaze back up until he found hers. “You still gonna be here when I wake up?” She asked, only halfway teasing.
He took a deep, painful breath, and sidled a little bit closer. “Promise.” Gave her hand a gentle squeeze. “I won’t leave.”
