“I don’t want happy endings.”

I said, straightforward as she stared at me, baffled. Why wouldn’t I like it, right? Everyone likes it. But strangely enough I’m never a fan of it. That’s only for fairytales. We are in the real life, where good and bad are something you’ll stumble upon all the freaking time. I want something real. Why does she want us to have a happy ending? I’m mad at her for saying that.

Love is not suppose to have happy endings, because if you love someone, you should be happy with that person, without endings. I don’t want us to end. I want us to be happy together—forever. True love doesn’t end, even when up until our last breath, our love will always be in the air. As long as our children’s children are still alive, our love is alive as well.

Our love will never end..

“What?” She finally said. “What do you want then?” Her voice is so faint I can barely hear it.

“I just don’t want us to end.” I murmured. She smiled at me, with her cheeks red as a tomato. She knows what I mean. She understands.
