So… I have this problem of “my brain is constantly making Douxie (ToA) and Matt (VLD) boyfriends😭 and like… it actually works??? Like, they actually make a good pair??? Douxie’s kinda good at keeping Matt out of trouble but usually just kinda joins him. Idk I feel like it’s weird that they work.

Okay so for some weird reason my mind went to numbers and I figured out a weird math trick in the middle of the night and it’s kind of tripping me out check this shit out it works for multiplying any two numbers that end in 5

Let’s go with 55 x 35. We take the two numbers in the tens column, a 5 and a 3. First we add one to the five making it a 6. 6x3 is 18. Going back to the 5 and 3 now we add to the 3 making it a 4. 5x4 is 20. The number right in the middle of 18 and 20 is 19. Then we just stick a 25 after that. 55x35=1925.

Sometimes the number in the middle ends in a .5 and when that happens the number ends in 75 instead of 25. For example, 65 x 15. 6 and 1. 7x1 is 7 and 6x2 is 12. The number right in the middle of 7 and 12 is 9.5. So you take that 9 and boom 65x15=975

It works for literally any two numbers ending in 5 I’m fucking losing my mind here look it even works with bigger numbers 615 x 135. 61 and 13. Gonna need a calculator for this but uh 62 x 13 is 806 and 61 x 14 is 854. The midway point between those is 830. So 615 x 135 is 83025.

I don’t know why the fuck this shit works I don’t know shit about math I was just messing around with numbers stumbled across it and wondered if it worked every time. Like I have no idea what I’m doing but I keep checking the answers with my calculator and this method gets the right answer every time and it’s blowing my mind because I don’t have a head for numbers and the only explanation I can think up for this shit is witchcraft help this is nothing like the math I was taught in school as a kid why does it still work why does it work at all I was just goofing around what
