This is just a little update on the Black Sails saints. I know some of you have been really excited about these paintings so I didn't want to leave you wondering how this project is going.

Short version: ink is a terribly unforgiving medium, I've ruined Silver and I'm really sad about that since I'm still proud of how some parts of that painting turned out (that coat!).

I'll have to start over. I /want/ to start over, but not right now. I'm a hobbyist; I make art because I simply love doing it, but right now it's only frustrating me.

Thank you for your lovely comments and tags on Saint James Flint and on the work-in-progress pictures of Saint John Silver. I was really happy to read them.
