Just binge watched almost two full seasons of The Dragon Prince with my best friend.

1- King Harrow (bless his soul, rip) and Viren had divorced energy. Viren isn't helping either, with the way he longingly looks at pictures when they were both happy.

2- the nexus lady is giving Castaspella

3- this whole show feels like someone frankensteined ATLA, Arcane, TOH, and She-Ra together.

4- Aunt Amaya is simply The Character of all time. She's just the best. She's also my favourite, if the bias wasn't coming through.

Why must the fandom be so small (7k fics on ao3. Just over 300 for my favourite pairing. This is torture). Why must I get attached and hyperfixated so easily

These two Chris’s have careers and fangirls at least partially because women love their muscles. Hell, in the first Captain America movie, Haley Atwell’s touching Chris’ muscles was unscripted- the actress was just that turned on by his muscles she grope him, and they threw it in.

Did women originate the male beauty standard of muscles? Probably not, idk. Are women the sole enforcers of it? No, duh. Is it enforced as violently as female beauty standards? Nah.

But yes women uphold these standards, yes they mock men for failing to uphold them, yes women are part of this, and no women do not all universally ‘prefer men in khakis with chub’ for fucks sake you know you are lying, and blatantly lying in the name of feminism, even for what you think is a noble cause, hurts women and is also fucking stupid because anyone outside Smol Bean Tunglr knows you are fucking lying goddamnit.
