To Wanda, it had been over as quickly as it started. In half an hour of her time, she’d gone from fighting in Wakanda to fighting in New York. Being told that it had been five years in fact had been enough to knock her off her feet once the battle was over. Surrounded by people from across the universe and across multiple times, Wanda felt completely alone. She’d gotten her revenge, but now what she did do? She thought to herself as she pulled a blanket closer to herself and sipped on tea that Steve had brought her. After a few minutes, she became aware that someone was looking at her. Wanda turned her head to look at the young man who Strange had called a ‘young avenger’. “Can I help you?” She asked curiously.

cassie’s grounded ,   technically speaking.   after the immediate excitement   &   tears over her sudden resuscitation ,   her mother had put her under house arrest     –––     technically speaking ,   she isn’t meant to be talking to any of the other young avengers ,   because her mom still partially blames them for cassie’s death ,   though she hasn’t said it in so many words.   she hasn’t even been given her cell phone back.   but hey ,   guess what  :   she’s alive again !   and it’s a good thing cassie’s never been much for rules or groundings ,   because there’s no chance she’s going more than a week without paying some visits.

so she sneaks downstairs ,   grabs enough quarters to pay for a subway ticket ,   &   hops a train over to billy’s place.   (  she had the route memorized before she died  ;   she’s really hoping he hasn’t moved in the last few years.  )   within twenty minutes ,   she’s standing on his doorstep ,   doorbell rung   &   foot tapping as she waits.

He was starting to regret this already, instantly actually the first time the kid opened his mouth. He should have counted the amount of times the kid said WOW but he was hoping if he ignored it they would stop. At least when Stephen finished he found some words that were marginally better than the word WOW though Stephen still was regretting every single choice he made in doing this. Still, he wasn’t going to live forever, he was only human and already in his middle ages at that. He should start thinking about who was going to replace him.

   every   time   the   kids   do   smth   remotely   bad   or   dangerous,   jj   will   just   appear   out   of   the   ether,   pick   them   up   and   put   them   on   the   naughty   step.

      lucas hated water. more like he had a phobia of drowning but not like he was going to admit that part. walking over a bridge with only a metal railing between him and falling to his uncertain death was unnerving.

      as he’s walking, someone bumps into him and makes him nudge against the railing, enough to cause his heart to race and his entire torso to armor up.

                        “shit--! watch where you’re going!”
