Summary

“What I’d Do For A Livable Income” is a Soap Opera-esque fantasy fiction about where magic and monsters disguised as humans exist in a modern setting—all hidden in plain sight.

The story focuses on the human Lynette’s struggle to understand her new “friends” at the Happy Pizzeria, all while doing her best to avoid becoming their lunch. What kind of hijinks will they get up to as she learns more and more about the world of monsters and magic that exists alongside her own?

Content Warning! - This story will contain strong language, and serious themes including but not limited to death, emotional and physical harm, suicide, and more, though some themes do not appear until much later in the story. Read at your own discretion!
