I can picture one of the first years (Maybe Ace or Deuce?) having a panick attack and the other two (+Grim?) trying to calm him down, in a kind of bittersweet way? Likey they are all together in the pain and learn how to comfort each other????
And maybe some of the living students/teacher involved in the accident witnessing this and being crushed by guilt???
