I just realized almost all of Natasha's lovers are absolutely the type that would take issue with her waking up consistently at 6 am every morning and probably try to keep her from leaving the bed one way or another.

The longest and still on going romantic ship would be with @the-mjolnir-owner​. So Thortasha. It’s also the most solid relationship my muse has. Thor and Natasha have been together going on nine years now and married eight of those years come this October. They have a daughter, Anya who will be seven this October as well. There’s been some minor discussion of giving Anya a sibling, but there’s been a lot going on that doesn’t make for a good time for that, though maybe now with the dust settling who knows.

Another romantic ship for my muse that’s actually a few months older is with @thewasandshouldbeking​ ‘s Loki, which it was surprisingly pretty solid too and got a ton of development over the years and really when Nat mentions Loki in most other threads (except for some verses, rps with other Lokis and such), there’s a fairly good chance she means Theirs.

As for platonic ships, @shieldshawk​ ‘s Clint is the longest running there and longer running than the two romantic ships mentioned above. In fact if I remember right it was via shieldshawk that I followed thewasandshouldbeking. The irony of that amuses me if my memory is correct lol. Sometimes there’s sort of a friends with benefits type vibe between Clint and Nat, but since Clint married Coulson that of course doesn’t really go on anymore. Still though they are close, best friends forever and all of that and if referring to Clint in other threads ( except with other Clints obviously) it’s very likely that she’s referring to shieldshawk. 

Second longest platonic ship would be with @ask-the-assistant-darcy​ and in some verses there’s a familial relationship too which is interesting to explore. Darcy has helped my muse be a little more comfortable around other women, which for a long time, for reasons I’m still somewhat uncertain about, Natasha had a difficult time connecting with other female characters. She’d interact with them, but there would always be this distance she kept in one way or another.

In her relationships, even with lovers who are more dominant than her (not just in the bedroom), Natasha tends to take on somewhat what is considered to be the masculine role. She spoils her men buying them things as she sees fit everything from clothing including lingerie (if they wear it), to chocolates, flowers, jewelry, make up(if they wear it), and also practical items such as weapons, a coffee maker, or shoes. She goes into protective mode with them. She will be the big spoon despite the fact most of her lovers bigger than she is and she’d probably even hold a door open for them or pay for dinner, and she’d absolutely wash their hair for them and make them feel better after a bad day.

Her reasoning is if she enjoys something then surely her lovers will as well. However she never takes things too far with this, she’s not one to over do displays of affection she is after all a private person for the most part, so she treats her lovers accordingly and the last thing she wants is for them to be uncomfortable or feel like she’s trying to buy their love and affection when that isn’t the case at all. She just wants them to have nice things and be happy and most of all know that she’s thinking about them.

She will also do sappy stuff like write letters to them or emails, send gifts while she’s gone somewhere or wear something that shows favor to them (think like knights wearing a flower for their lady or their ribbon or handkerchief, etc).
