Watched The Lost Boys the other day and spent half of the film with this in my head
You are still in my dreams. I remember your face, you smile, you laugh in my dreams. I’m better now. I faced our memories, the places we used to go to... by myself, face to face. I pulled myself out of the shell I hid behind. I faced my fear of remembering you, tracking back. Years of saying goodbye, all the years of crying and heart aches over missing you and feeling guilty.... all those times are still painful but it will thin out eventually. It’s not as painful as back in 2016 October. Eventually, I will be completely ok.... right?
