Some News
Dear Reader,
It’s been a while! I hope you’re well. I seem to have fallen into a hole called “I wrote my first play and it took so much out of me that I shut down creatively”. It was an exciting and rewarding experience to write and edit it in the space of a few months. In January 2020 I had the luck to participate with my group in a stage reading at the National Theatre, where the full play got its first audience. A whirlwind!
There has been some wonderful news that I haven’t yet shared here (although I keep my honors and publications pages regularly updated):
my microfiction “Anatomical Venus Girl”, (first published in Milk Candy Review in April 2019) has been a Best Microfiction 2020 winner!
my flash fiction “A Catalogue of Temporary Objects” (first published in X–R-A-Y Literary Magazine in September 2018) was included in The Wigleaf Top50 Very Short Fictions 2019!
also, my flash fiction “Endling” (first published in Flapperhouse in March 2018) was in the same longlist!
