Please don't tell me I did something bad, I know I shouldn't have, I know the issues with feeling foxes, especially close to housing
But while waiting for Amazon I saw this fox, it's right back foot was injured, it was limping and couldn't walk on it. But it seemed to not mind me, it kept looking at me startled but it made no attempt to run or hide. After I got my package I quickly went upstairs to get it some food, again, I know I shouldn't, but the fox didn't seem scared of me and I was worried how it was eating with it's injured paw. I got 2 eggs I had to get rid of, and a raw chicken breast, but when I went back down it was gone
I wondered if it went to the street, which it had, and after getting the foxes attention it gave me that same intrigued look, so I crouched low and looked away so it saw I meant no harm, and I could see the fox run at me, then it got really close to my left and ran behind me. I rolled out an egg for it gently so it didn't crack, and the fox got so incredibly close to me, it started backing off so I quickly rolled the second egg. I tried to give it the chicken breast but it started running away, I tried getting its attention again but it just took off. I dunno if the fox was slow cause of its injury or trusting me, but it didn't move fast. I just tossed the chicken breast in the direction of the fox hoping it heard the noise/smelled it
Again, I know I really shouldn't have, but it was hurt and seemed to trust me, and I will admit it's just that cute little face. I'm glad the fox seemed happy with the eggs at least, hopefully it finds the chicken too and that injury heals
I should probably state too actually. The foxes, like all wildlife, used to have a lot of areas to live in, but they've destroyed all the nature here, it's almost all housing now. And even the few nature areas left, humans have gone through to make it "pretty" nature and design it for people. The foxes just have nowhere to go, nowhere to hunt, all their homes have been destroyed. It is also what makes me feel bad for them and why I did something I shouldn't have today, this lil fox is injured and just sorta has nothing left, and the few things that are left it won't be able to compete with healthy foxes. Pretty soon the foxes will have no homes at all, they're just constantly slowly chipping away at the nature here
I found a very cute photo and decided to draw it
i love foxes, they make funny noise
I Missed Seeing a Fox!
My wife and I are currently on a train ride.
A few minutes ago, all of a sudden, she pointed out the window and said, "Look! A fox!" I turned my head to see, but completely missed it, which saddened me greatly.
I have painstakingly recreated the scenario with my elite digital art skills.
Here is a photographic recreation of the view, sans fox.
Furthermore, my wife said that she saw horses galloping along near the fox. Here is her drawing of one of the horses.
Edit: Throughout the rest of the train ride, she has been gasping and pointing out the window to trick me.
Update: We both saw a bald eagle.
Wild red fox.
While I was taking landscape photos I spotted this fox. I only had my wide angle lens on. I stood still and leaned on a tree and eventually
