FIC: A Horrible Idea (MLB/Lukanette)

Summary: Scarlet Beetle wasn’t usually this reckless, but Lady Justice was leaving him little choice. He refused to leave Marinette under Hawkmoth’s control, and he refused to fight her. He just hoped his crazy plan worked.
Author’s Notes/Warnings: So this was written for the 1/13-1/20 @lovebugs-and-snakecharmers Sprint Challenge, using the prompt “Ladybug Juleka and Chat Luka, sibling heroes that keep having to rescue their favorite pink damsels in distress.” I did the sprints back then, but it didn’t feel done? So it just kinda hung out while I focused on other projects. xD Added about another sprint’s worth of words to wrap it up.
Just a reminder: LBSC Sprint Challenge: Three 15-minute sprints to create. 24 hours to edit/post. (This week is Wildcard Week, which was extended to 7/7 because we have an extra week between the biweekly challenges. Which at least for me meant “hey remember those Sprints you never finished WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT TO DO THAT?” xD)
Scarlet Beetle was pissed.
If he found a way out of this, he was going to find Hawkmoth and punch him in his stupid silver face.
“Stop fighting,” the painfully hollow voice of the akuma whispered. It was wrong – everything about this was wrong. Her voice was always so full of life. So cheerful. So…he rolled out of the way in the nick of time, panting as he came up to stare at the girl across the street.
How had they gotten to this point?
