Wedding Vows (Married AU with wildcardscorpio)
In another timeline, Gentaro had watched AGHS almost implode from the power of the Zodiarts. However, he knew of one person who had been hurt more than anyone else by Gamou. Though they showed unwavering loyalty, being beaten by Fourze had gotten that one person transported into space.
Gentaro had wound up there himself after a battle with Libra. He had managed to get the Fourze driver back into the hands of the club before Virgo sent him into the Dark Nebula.
Except, it wasn't really a nebula. It was a space station. And he found himself floating alongside Sonoda Sarina, unable to do anything else but listen to her as she complained about being cast aside.
He wasn't sure how long he had spent there, but every so often, the station would hum, and shoot a beam of blue energy down to Earth.
"Sonoda. I bet I can find some way to get us back to Earth." He told her. "I just need you to trust me." He held out a hand to her, and with no other option, she took it.
The next time that energy was beamed to Earth, it had two stowaways aboard. Gentaro and Sarina returned, just as Gamou stepped up his plans.
And though it was surprising to see them back, watching Fourze and Scorpio fight side by side was even more so for the Kamen Rider Club.
The day of Gamou's defeat, Scorpio had held Leo in place to allow Meteor to finish him.
Five years had passed and Gentaro had returned to AGHS as a teacher, alongside Sarina. Eventually, he built up enough courage to ask her out.
Surprisingly, she agreed. But that day at the coffee shop was the first of three horribly bad dates. It was as if fate was trying to push them apart. But through it all, Gentaro stayed by Sarina's side.
"I don't know why you do so much for me, Kisaragi." Sarina had said on the one date that went well. They were sitting in a cheesecake shop.
"It's because I love you." Gentaro admitted.
"Wait, what? Love? I thought this was your friendship thing again." Sarina had said skeptically.
"No. The first few tries were friendship. But this..." he places her hand over his chest. "Is the hot-blooded passion of love. I love you, Sarina."
She had kept her distance for a bit after that confession, but kept coming back to it. The only "positive" feelings she had ever gotten were from Hayami and Gamou. One of those was the feeling of being in the same boat. The other was stockholm syndrome.
Sarina knew that Gentaro never faked anything. He was the most boneheadedly sincere person on the planet.
So she went on another date with him. Not so much a date as it was her with her favorite movie and snacks. She laid down some ground rules. "No kissing. No hugging. Sitting close to me is fine. No touching anywhere above the wrist."
Several more dates like this passed, until Gentaro got up the courage to propose. At the cheesecake shop, he popped the question, stunning her. But that was five months ago.
Now, in a private ceremony with only four of Gentaro's friends in attendance, they're getting married! Gentaro turns as the music starts playing, and his bride walks down the aisle...
