artie carries around a feather !!! the same one venti has on his outfit :3 it’s like a good luck charm ! they aren’t married, but they’re partners and solidified their union with earrings instead of the traditional rings !!

so venti wears an earring with artie’s favorite flower (a daisy) on it, and artie wears one with his on it (a cecilia) !!!

this is actually a tradition that dates back to the very early days of cairnfelle - started originally by a woman who gifted her lover her earring on their wedding day before she left for war. her lover returned the act, and catalina loved the symbolism so much she used it on her own wedding day too
