Luz stood at the corner of the main room, their large, barrel chest heaving with each heavy breath the girl took. Only, the young human was far less human now than they had been just a moment before. Fur and feathers covered their much larger form, brown and white spotted wings extending out from their backside as a strangled growl rumbled in their chest.

They couldn’t understand what was going on. A pounding ache still lingered in her limbs, in her shoulders, in her very core. A body that felt foreign and bizarre, yet altogether was the only thing they seemed to know, the only thing they could recall. Large black claws scraped against the wooden floors, trembling limbs still carelessly shuffling about as Luz searched for a way out.

With teeth bared, the gangly owlbeast stared at the woman before them, paying no mind to the other, smaller demon on the couch that had screeched for the witch. The creature continued still to press further back into the corner they stood in, hindquarters pressing back against the wall, ignoring as the various items that decorated it that clattered onto the floor behind them, screeching once more at the woman in warning.
