McCree didn’t normally find himself surrounded by thugs, but whenever he did, he was able to dispose of them without trouble. The difference this time was that they were all armed with guns, & since McCree didn’t keep his revolver loaded & could only steal the soul of one man at a time, he knew that he was in a bit of trouble.
“Now fellas,” he warned, observing each of the men. None of them seemed to be lunging forward to attack him, but that was likely to change soon. “Let’s just talk here for a minute. There’s no need to go & do anythin’ rash now.”
He hadn’t see the woman behind them yet, & was assuming that he would have to put up the fight of his life to get away.

hey, you seem to know a lot about buying dogs from good places, so i was wondering what you think the best place to buy a dog from is? e.g. a reputable breeder, a home for rescue dogs, or from a shelter (where it's likely to be put down)?

tbh its all about you and what youre looking for. For me, scout is my first dog, i had barely ANY experience irl with dogs, so wanted to be able to meet her parents so i could gauge her personality. Not to mention the selection of dogs at shelters were i live was VERY small (like 15 dogs total) which also means no puppies and i needed a puppy because i have elderly cats who would die of a heart attack if a big grown dog just walked into the house. Plus i didnt have a fenced in yard so the shelters near me wouldnt even let me adopt a big dog. So really just whats your situation, where do you live, what age are you looking for, how much experience with dogs do you have, etc it all depends. Shelters are great but not everyone can adopt from a shelter. Breeders are great but i don’t recommend everyone go get a puppy (they r a pain in the ass). Not to mention the cost (ngl scout set me back 2 grand). There are breed specific Rescues that take in Purebred dogs with akc papers and everything if youre looking for a purebred dog, and theyre so much cheaper. Really both are great but you need to do your homework and figure out what would be better specifically for you
