- The Creature Dilemma -

Hello, it's been a while since we last spoke. If you were aware. I deleted my previous post regarding a certain Owen because I'm unsatisfied. I really want to stop making characters and refocus on creatures.

There is, however, a dilemma and a complication. It's been a long time since I drew the main creature, The Hoodlites. I may have, stopped production on them. Every alteration I make seems to take on a more monstrous approach which leads to division.

You may have heard the names, Salkites and Broncopod a lot. While I have addressed that I wish to discontinue due to lack of interest and wanting to condense the cast. But by some miracle;

A metaphorical "Palpatine" if you will.

But here is another issue. There is an interest in reviving the Twiggmun with the Wilfies. A symbiotic relationship between the most fearsome and untamable hunters. Working together with the most intelligent beings. A bit like Timon and Pumba.

Then there is the Omnibeast problem. There is quite a chatter on the abusive use of something called, the Omnibeast Compound. I have a good narrative for that and it has to do with Yazmin. No issues there but it looks like separating variations is not the answer.

I do have a proposal though. I'm thinking of going ham. Letting the Hoodlites be whatever they look like but is still defined as a Hoodlite. For example, when we say Reptiles. We have lizards, snakes, Iguanas, crocodiles, tortoises etc~

I get to hit two birds with one stone. Fix the creature dilemma and make all sorts of unique looks for every Hoodlite since that has always been its approach. Wouldn't you agree?

Make the Hoodlites a Definition!

- Vox and the Wilfies -

Vox of The Red returns with a small revival as a Twiggmun with the beloved Wilfies. These guys now share a symbiotic relationship as allies.

As the brains and the fastest group member, Vox helps scout ahead for prey and resources while the Wilfies provide muscle. Consider this as another reboot for Vox but a return for the Wilfies. Introducing Benjamin and Elias. I'm referencing a lot of actual wolf colours and I enjoy drawing them. No promises but I will draw more~

- Meet the Wilfie 🐺 -

About a while ago, I saw this post by [rainy_daze_arts] who is inspired by [iguanamouth] not wanting to skip out on a fun opportunity.

I decided to go on my notebook and drew something based on this "just the head" creature and uncovered the wolf-headed creature. The Wilfie (wil-f-ie - emphasize on the "fff" silent "i")

They take on the head of a wolf, same size as an ordinary wolf with its head overtaking the body, leaving the tail sticking out and its legs are replaced with hooves.

They come in all sorts of colors and they function very much like a normal wolf pack and yes, like the wolf. Its called a Wilfie Pack. Who you see before you is Benjamin the Gray, Jacob the Brown and Levi the Ginger (ish) I know I kept saying "more to come soon" and trust me, this one will have more. Its a really good one.

- The Wilfies: Part 2 🐺 -

The Wilfies are back at it again with three more silly poses to push the limits of this being's keep. In case if you missed the previous one. Here's a [REMINDER]

A few fun facts, Jacob/Jake (the brown) is based on a rather popular wolf in a popular teen novel series/ movie that you might have heard of. He's the oldest of the pack and he naturally leads the trio.

Benjamin/ Ben (the gray) is the maniac of the trio. He likes to dive head first into a fight and ask questions later. Consider him the; Raphael or the Lancer but mixed with a little bit of the comedian in him.

Finally, Levi (the orange) is the youngest. He's on this strange journey to try rejecting his nature as a carnivore and is instead. Opting out normal meat for fish meat instead (because they have no souls, obviously /j)

Because of his strange arc, he's the smallest of them all but deep down, he knows that all it will take is a drop of blood. I dunno what I'm going to do with them yet but they're here to stay for good.
